Macworld Boston first impressions- The Convention center is really new!

Ok, a little departure from the EFL nature of this blog and an apology for not updating this site in quite a while. Since the beginning of July, I've been pretty much stuck in Dial-up hell. That and the fact that I've been on the beach most of the time kind of diminished my ability / desire to post.

So back to the topic at hand. I'm 15 minutes from the Power Tools Conference I've selected- "Mac OS X - Advanced Concepts and Administration," and if my head doeasn't explode before the end of it, I'll post about how that was.

Press read-below to find my first impressions.

Registration was a breeze even though they didn't have my selected Power Tools Conference selection noted. At registration, they handed out a canvas goody back that by a quick look includes a t-shirt, a leather-type hard cover note pad oh, that and a cd of all presentations of the conference. The handbook for the session I selected is 165 pages. (well half that because every other is for notes.) Yeah! The WiFi works well, just don't forget to open a browser window before trying to do anything in order to fire up the proxy server stuff. If you want to chat with me I'm Macbarcelona at AIM. And what seems the most important at this point, is that there are power plugs all over the place.
