Newspapers US and Worldwide![]() Jose Enrique from down south a ways emailed me with this little gem. It's similar in idea to Newsmuem's 'Today's Front Pages' <http://www.newseum.org/todaysfrontpages/> which I logged back in October. Refdesk.com's Paper section http://www.refdesk.com/paper.html lists newspapers by region and country. It's interesting to see how different ( no, how similar ) the principle news stories are from around the world. Here's a fun activity; Choose the front page. Hand out at least one from each continent, Read out the principle headline, other students try and guess origin. Summarize article. Does it help? Find the headline that is most indicative of Continent / Country / State. treat text as needed. Thank's Jose. Keep 'em comin'!
