iTunes Music Store for more of us. Yeah baby.
If you happen to have a credit card (or a friend to send a gift certificate) with a billing address within one of the newly added countries to the iTunes Music Store (ITMS), welcome to the drug! -er, club! Books are written about using songs in ELT, so I won't go into all that, but I will point out the ITMS also has videos and movie trailers for viewing as well. And from what I can tell, they're also fully available for those who are still only able to drool. -er, browse. (Hint for browsers: The US store has the most vids.) And for those of us who don't teach where our connection is, don't forget that the videos are stored on your computer in a non-obvious place, so as not to confuse you with all sorts of bits. You can move them from the invisible cache folder to the desktop using iGetMovies. It's not in English but just remember to let the media fully load in iTunes / Browser / other, don't shut the window that it's displayed in and hit iGetMovie's only button and the media file will be copied to your desktop. Just remember to rename it real quick-like. Posted: Tue - October 26, 2004 at 10:01 PM |
